Sariska Tiger Reserve is located in Alwar District of Rajasthan State of India , Sariska National Park & Tiger Reserve is surrounded by Aravali hills which are oldest mountain series of India.
Sariska Tiger Reserve has rich flora & Fauna and as name suggests Sariska is famous for Royal Bengal Tiger, There were many tigers in Sariska but there was a time Sariska was not having a single Tiger , Later government shifted few tigers from Ranthambore National Park and now Tigers are breeding again at Sariska Tiger Reserve.
Safari: Entry of private vehicles is not allowed inside of Sariska Tiger Reserve , open Gypsy safari charges are INR 3900 for Indians where 6 people can enjoy 3 hrs gypsy safari , If some one wants to visit Kankarwadi Fort too which is located inside Sariska Tiger Reserve then Rs. 400 Rs, charges are extra.
Best Time to visit Park: park is open everyday from October till May end from 6 A.M. to 3:30 in the afternoon.
SARISKA is the only Tiger Reserve in close proximity of the Country’s capital City of New Delhi and Rajasthan’s capital city Jaipur.
Distance and Routes – From Delhi 200 Kms. via Gurgaon – Dharuhera – Bhiwari Tijara – Kishangarhbas – Alwar.
From Jaipur 110 Kms. via Shahpura – Bairath – Thanagazi.
